Jessica Lunsford Act information
It is the responsibility of all FHSAA baseball officials to comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act requirements before working school events.
The Jessica Lunsford Act requires background screening for contractual personnel who are permitted access on school grounds when students are present or who have direct contact with students. This includes sports officials. Officials must also possess the statewide contractor badge issued by a county school district.
